About Savanah Design Co.
My Story
Savanah Design Co. was formed as the expression and fulfillment of a life-long dream of mine. I became obsessed with fine architecture and interior design at a very young age. Growing up in my father's very niche company of restoring grand pianos, (Central Michigan Pianos, Inc.) I was introduced to the finer things of life at a young age, enabling me to travel the country and Europe alongside my father. Working for accomplished pianists, esteemed music schools and all types of organizations gave me a glimpse into a much bigger picture. At the age of 6 years old, I began drawing sketches of furniture, room settings, and even blueprints for house-plans. My experiences in the homes and buildings where the pianos took my father's company led me on a journey and appreciation for fine art, music, architecture, and good design. From soaring gilded ceilings in client's homes in Washington D.C, impressive Tudors and townhomes in Chicago, to 20th-story flats in Manhattan, my accumulated experiences in fabulous culture helped to shape my creative mind.
For years I have used my passion and skills with design to spearhead my own projects and those of my close friends/family. I have designed many interior and exterior spaces, from new home builds, to renovations, & business interiors.
With the help and encouragement of my supportive fiancé, I have taken the big step into professionally working in this field as a designer.
I am now offering my design/renovation services in many capacities, from simple room refreshes, bathroom makeovers, to full kitchen remodels and entire home renovations.
Working with me on your projects
My mission with interior design is simple: I want to de-mystify home renovation projects for the homeowner. By acting as both the designer and project manager, I can oversee and facilitate every aspect of the project on behalf of my clients to ensure the desired result.
